Casa Del Mar
For macOS, iPadOS and iOS
Everything worth keeping close, in one place
Snippets, screenshots and files scatter the moment you save them. One shelf catches all of it, and gives it back in a keystroke.
Free while in beta · Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later
One shelf
Every kind of thing, one way to handle it
One app instead of a notes file, a downloads folder and a clipboard tool — each kind handled properly.
Capture without switching
One hotkey, from whatever app you are already in. No window to find, no folder to pick.
Text, images, files, documents
A real preview for each: code keeps its highlighting, PDFs open to the right page.
Find it before you finish typing
Across names, contents, and text pulled out of images and PDFs. Narrows on every keystroke.
Collections that tag themselves
A collection and a few tags, suggested the moment something lands. Accept with Return, or ignore them.
Paste straight back out
Back to the clipboard in the format you need — plain text, rich text, a path, or the file itself.
The same shelf on every device
Saved on the Mac, there on the iPhone. Through your own iCloud, so there is no server and no account.
The whole loop
Keep it. Find it. Use it.
Three verbs, and nothing in the app that does not serve one of them.
1 Keep
Save it in one motion
Hotkey, or drop it on the menu bar icon. It works out the rest.
2 Find
Get it back in a keystroke
Open the shelf and type. It reads inside documents and images, not just names.
3 Use
Put it where it needs to go
Return pastes it where you are, or drag it out. The shelf closes behind you.

Questions
The things people ask first
Still stuck? Write to us — the address on the contact page reaches a human.
How is this different from Notes or Finder?
Notes is for things you write and Finder is for files you have already decided where to put. Queep It is for the gap between them — the snippet, screenshot or attachment you want to keep for the next few days without naming it, filing it, or deciding which of the two it belongs in.
Where is my data stored?
On your device, in a local library. If you turn sync on, it moves through your own iCloud account between your devices. There is no Queep It server holding your library, and there is no Queep It account to create.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Capture, search and paste are all local operations and none of them need a network. Sync catches up the next time your devices are online.
What do I need to run it?
Queep It needs macOS 14 Sonoma or later on the Mac, and iOS 17 or later on iPhone and iPad. It runs natively on both Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
Is there a subscription?
No. Pro is a one-time purchase that includes a year of updates, and the version you bought keeps working after that year whether or not you buy another. The free tier has no time limit.
Can I get my things out again?
Any time. Everything exports to plain files and folders, with text as Markdown and metadata alongside it as JSON. Nothing you save is locked into a format only Queep It can read.
Stop losing the good stuff
A minute to set up, and no time at all to learn.
